The Southern Association of Insurance Agents & Brokers, Inc. is an insurance educational Institution. It is a Florida State approved educational provider (0717) and is located at Edison State College in Fort Myers, Florida.

The Association was established in 1993 as an Educational Institution offering training for individuals seeking careers in the insurance industry.

The Association has one of the highest pass success rates in the industry - over 90%! Our goal is to help you in your understanding of policy coverage's and insurance laws that are the basis of our industry. The courses that we offer will prepare you to take and pass the Florida State insurance license exam.

The Association is a authorized to offer course instruction for students preparing to take the state license exam and for Continuing Education for General Lines Agent; Personal Lines Agent; General Lines Customer Representative; Personal Lines Customer Representative; pre-license and conversion course offerings; Insurance Adjuster; Life, Health and Annuities Insurance Agent; Excess & Surplus Lines Broker as well as various professional designation programs.

For those licensed professionals who wish to further their insurance education we offer various advanced course offerings such as the CPCU & CISR designations. The Association is approved by the American Institute for CPCU & Insurance Institute of America IIA and The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research to offer courses to prepare the student to take and pass the national exams for CPCU and CISR.

The Association also offers a host of continuing education courses for various license professionals such as Agent, Customer Representative and Insurance Adjusters and Insurance Brokers.

To date the Association at Edison State College is the only fully State Certified Educational Provider for Property & Casualty Live; Health and Annuities, as well as Excess and Surplus Lines Brokers, by the Department of Financial Services in South West Florida.
